Who We Are
Duck & Corolla Parasail is compromised of the unique talents and skills of Owner/Operator Ed, Captain Grant and First Mate Ben. Each bring to the table their combined experience working in the parasailing and boating industry for many years.
Our United States Coast Guard Licensed 100-Ton Master Captains have over 40 years of industry experience combined—an unmatched level of parasail-exclusive experience from the northern beaches to the southern-most point of these amazing Barrier Islands.
We strictly adhere to the WSIA (Water Sports Industry Association) weather and equipment standards, which is not a requirement but a bonus—it guarantees the safest possible parasail excursion for you and your loved ones.
Our powerful, top-of-the-line boats were designed specifically for parasailing and are proven to ensure the most comfortable and dry ride around the sound.
We welcome observers if space allows.

Photos are our tried and true way to capture amazing photos of your excursion, from start to finish.
Our First Mate will photograph your trip from the minute you take off to the minute you land, leaving you with approximately 50 professional images on an SD card that YOU get to take home!

Meet Your Crew
Ed
Captain Owner-Operator
Captain Ed has been a licensed 100-Ton Master Captain for well over two decades. Working all the way from Maine to the Outer Banks, he has flown over 35,000 happy customers! Ed attended Maine Maritime Academy for four years, where he studied Small Vessel Operations and has been a commercial fisherman on the East Coast for twenty years. An avid waterman, you’ll absolutely enjoy a safe and fun experience while on his boat.
Grant
Captain
Captain Grant has been parasailing on the Outer Banks since parasailing on the Outer Banks literally started—decades ago! He is a true OBX parasail O.G. and is a huge asset to the crew. Grant is an absolute joy to be around and enjoys all things outdoors. During the off-season, he travels cross-country to explore the vast and oh-so-beautiful world around us. We absolutely love a captain with a solid sense of curiosity and adventure. Afterall, these traits kind of feel built into our DNA.
Ben
First Mate
Ben joined our team four years ago and has been an excellent First Mate throughout all of them. He is a locally living graduate of Radford University. He is skilled at his craft, friendly, and just an all-around team player. We are lucky to have him on board (and so are you!)
